In the study, 47 parents were asked to prepare meals from chicken ingredients, salads, cauliflower and pasta with their sons or daughters aged 6 to 10 years. Half of the children who participated in the experiment both combined the salad ingredients and helped their parents cover the chicken pieces. The other half of the parents played a separate game while preparing food. Children who eat with their parents consumed almost 76% more salads and 27% more chickens.
